Open plan kitchen and knock through, Coltsfoot Drive, Guildford
On Coltsfoot Drive in Guildford we opened up the rear of the house to create a bright, sociable kitchen and dining space. Removing the wall between the kitchen and the back room, and fitting sliding doors onto the garden, completely changed how the ground floor feels and flows.
The new kitchen was fitted in a soft shaker style with solid wood worktops and a large island. This is a classic example of structural alterations and a kitchen refurbishment handled together as one job, so the building work and the finish come together seamlessly.
